Where I'm at

I rebuilt this site today, which felt like a good excuse to write down where I am right now. Mostly so I can look back on it later. The old Windows version of this site is still around, and if you press X anywhere on it, it'll take you there.

School

I'm studying computer science at Georgia State. This semester I'm in Computer Organization and Programming and Software Development, which means a lot of assembly on one side and a lot of team projects on the other. It's a weird combo, but it works.

I'm also a research assistant with Dr. Armin Mikler, the chair of the CS department. It's ongoing research, so I'll share more when I can.

What I'm building

CourseConnect AI is still the main thing. It started as a place to upload your work and talk to an AI that teaches you, one that remembers you instead of starting a new chat every time. Now it's an app where you can see the classes you're in, with everything for each one in one place. It's free in beta on TestFlight while I keep building it.

GaitGuard is an iPhone + Apple Watch cueing aid for people with Parkinson's. I started it after my mom was diagnosed — when freezing of gait hits, the Watch taps a steady rhythm on the wrist to help the next step come. It calibrates to your walk, works on the Watch without the phone nearby, and adapts from thumbs-up/down feedback after each cue. It's the project I care most about getting right. Pilot is open on the site.

PlanDrop came out of Hacklanta in March. Four of us built it in 12 hours: AI-generated group plans built on real venues, and your crew has to claim one before anyone else does.

Wayframe is the newest. I built it with help from my friend Steven. I recently picked up photography as a hobby and wanted a place to share my pictures where other people could share theirs too. On Wayframe you pin each photo to the map where you took it and connect the stops with red string, like a detective's board. If you want to follow the photos I take, I'm @overawakened on Instagram. I'll be posting more soon.

What's next

I'm looking for a software engineering internship for summer 2027. If you're working on something interesting, email me.

I'm also planning to apply to Y Combinator soon with CourseConnect AI. Writing it down here makes it real.

More soon.
